The Dino-Lite AM413M is from the latest X series of handheld microscopes featuring 1.3 megapixel (1280x1024) high resolution imaging. A simple thumbwheel control to adjust the focus/magnification allows for an effective magnification range of between 10x and 50x (dependant upon the distance of the object from the microscope) and a further 200x setting when the microscope is directly above the object being observed.

The 8 built-in white light LED's with software on/off control allow for good subject illumination and the integrated light diffuser helps to reduce unwanted reflections when illuminating reflective surfaces.

The supplied DinoCapture software enables the user to capture still images, real-time video and time-lapsed video streams quickly and easily. Once a still image has been captured text and graphics can easily be added using the built in picture editing tools after which the image can be saved in a selection of resolutions, shared and emailed from within the DinoCapture user interface.
