Volumetric measuring instruments made of glass are classified
by the relevant standards and the German "Eichordnung"
as follows:
Class B: The volumetric tolerance has to be within twice the
permissible tolerance of the class A/AS. However Hirschmann class
B products do not use this scope completely and so they are usually
even better than 1 ½ times the permissible tolerance of
class A/AS according to the relevant standards.
Class A: The volumetric tolerance has to be within the limits,
defined through DIN/ISO and the German "Eichordnung"
(EO). Class A products meet all demands for the conformity certification.
Class AS: The volumetric tolerance has to be within the limits,
defined through DIN/ISO and the German "Eichordnung"
(EO). The instruments have to be EX calibrated and they have to
meet the demands with respect to fast flow and the prescribed
waiting time. Class AS products meet all demands for the conformity
certification.
